  Summary:

The area of my research interests is a multi-layered one. It includes different operations research (OR) quantitative optimization methods, along with some decision support systems (DSS) dimensions. On the other hand, it is also in the domain of informatics and advanced information and communication technology (ICT) applications with a particular interest in their growing social and economic impacts.

# In the field of quantitative optimization methods I have been dealt with some transportation and logistics problems, problems of maintenance, safety, marketing positioning, assessing customers’ level of satisfaction with services or products, etc.

# In the field of ICT I have been dealt with exploring features of some contemporary ICT applications mainly in maritime transport, and then by didactic informatics, pod- cast applications, concept of smart classrooms, etc.

Currently my research interests are focused on the study of web evolution, internet of things, smart environments, human dimenzion of technological development, etc.
